Pastor Tim Rigdon shares how to answer the calling God has for you.
1 Corinthians 1:26–31 (NKJV)
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.
30 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—
31 that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”
THE SEEMINGLY DISQUALIFIED WILL EMERGE
by Nate Johnston
It's the disqualified, the ones that were looked down on, that ones that didn't quite fit that will emerge in this season holding a KEY that will many will marvel at because it is GOD who exalts and raises up.
He has marked the ones that beat to a different drum, that don't walk to the guidelines, and don't fit in the box for a specific purpose in the days ahead.
They will be the gatherers of the fringe. The ones that will stand in the gap and rescue those that many others will not be able to.
They will transcend all barriers and be anointed to influence all people groups and bring the love of a perfect Father into those that have not felt accepted or understood their place.
I feel that many have counted themselves out and short, but God hasn't forgotten you and He will even override your own view of yourself and raise you up quickly in this next season.
Shake off the accusation, the judgments, and the worthlessness because the Father says "It's time!"
Acts 4:13 (NKJV)
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.
