Galatians 5:1 (NKJV): "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."

You can live in the land of the free…

and still be a prisoner

John 8:36 NKJV Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

I. God Has Always Been a Deliverer

Some people think Christianity is learning to live with chains.

He didn’t come just to make prison comfortable.

II. Freedom Always Has a Price

III. Many Christians Have Been Freed…

The devil cannot own you

…so he tries to control your thinking.

-Freedom begins in the heart

… before it appears in your circumstances

the chains are gone

…Don’t pick them back up.

Don’t wear what Jesus already broke.

IV. The Enemy Wants to Reclaim What Christ Has Freed

Never become comfortable carrying chains that Jesus already removed.

V. The Holy Spirit Is the Atmosphere of Freedom

2 Corinthians 3:17 NKJV: "Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."

VI. Freedom Must Be Protected

We cannot compromise truth for acceptance

We cannot trade holiness for popularity

We cannot exchange conviction for convenience

VII. Real Revival Is Freedom Breaking Out

Revival is heaven invading earth

The greatest Independence Day you’ll ever celebrate

…is the day

…Jesus set you free

The greatest declaration of independence was made nearly 2,000 years ago

when Jesus cried,

“It finished!”
