Today's Scriptures and Notes:
Mark 11:22–23 (NKJV) So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Stop Climbing …What God Told You to Command
Some of us have spent years trying to climb …what God intended to remove.
I. The Foundation: Have Faith in God
Our confidence is in the God who cannot fail.
II. Some Mountains Are Meant to Be Moved
III. Speak to the Mountain—Not About It
Too many believers spend more time talking about their mountain than talking to it.
We have become experts at describing our pain …but beginners at declaring God’s promises.
Mountains don’t respond to panic.
Mountains respond to faith.
Mountains do not respond to your anxiety …It responds to your authority
Don’t let what you see … silence what you believe.
If he can keep you silent, …he can keep you defeated.
IV. Mountains Hear the Voice of Faith
There is a shift from a hopeful wish …to a Holy decree.
V. Don’t Let Doubt …Divide Your Heart
Double-mindedness destroys momentum. You cannot proclaim victory on Sunday… …and confess defeat all week long.
Job 22:28 NKJV You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways.
VI. Stop Walking Around the Same Mountain
“Stop walking around what I have given you authority to leave behind.”
You cannot stay comfortable in the valley… …and expect mountain experiences with God.
VII. Faith Speaks Before It Sees
Every miracle in Scripture started …with someone believing before they saw.
VIII. The Greatest Mountain Was Already Climbed
If He defeated sin… -He can defeat your fear.
If He defeated death… He can defeat your addiction.
If He conquered the grave… He can conquer whatever stands in front of you today.
“Stop climbing what I’ve already given you authority to confront.”
